Last week, we posted about the 14 shades of popular spring colors for 2013 (view post here), and showed you a few ways to use the colors in your home. Today, we’re all about prints and patterns for spring! Fun prints and patterns are a great way to change up your home for the seasons. Not only is it easy to find small pieces to use as home decor accents, it also won’t cost you an arm and a leg!
Here are a few of our favorite prints and patterns for the spring (or year long if you like)!
Via Country Living
Floral – We love the floral pattern year round, but especially for spring! It perfectly mimics the beautiful flowers blooming outside. We love all the blue floral pillows from this Country Living spread.
Via Swirls of Pearls
Chevron – This print became popular in 2012, but we’re still enjoying it in 2013! The good thing about holding out on buying trendy prints at first is that they get more accessible as time goes by (which means cheaper and easier to find). Check out this image via Swirls of Pearls–the black and white chevron looks lovely beside a neutral room.
Brocade – Brocade may seem like a lush pattern meant for fall and winter, but in light colors, it is also great for spring. They make great wallpaper patterns and furniture fabric, like this one from Apartment Therapy.
Via Decoist
Ombre – Another trend that started in 2012 that we still love in 2013! Ombre is not only for the hair, it’s also fun for home decor. Check out this fun ombre dresser from Decoist (loving the coral)!
